$515M PNC Private Bank Team Returns to LPL

LPL Financial announced that a team from PNC Private Bank Trust, which oversaw $515 million in advisory assets, has joined its broker-dealer, RIA, and custodial platforms.

Endeavor Wealth Strategies’ Fort Wayne, IN team, led by U.S. Marine Corps veteran Seth Marshall, has joined forces with LPL affiliate Exemplar Financial Network. The firm offers financial advice and investment options to wealthy and ultra-wealthy individuals and families.

Marshall began his financial services career in 2004 at Edward Jones, where he worked for a year before moving on to other firms, including LPL in 2009. He left LPL after four years to work for PNC Investments before joining JP Morgan, where he stayed until April 2015, according to BrokerCheck.

According to his LinkedIn profile, he has been with PNC since 2015 as an investment advisor and most recently as a market director until leaving last month.

Marshall “recognized the need for more specialized resources to address his clients’ sophisticated and complex needs” and made the decision to go back to LPL “to build his ideal practice to serve wealthy families with a more boutique feel.”

LPL, which manages $130 billion in high-net-worth assets, has been extremely aggressive in courting and acquiring new clients this year. The company expanded its Strategic Wealth Services affiliation model by adding a $1 billion Merrill Lynch team in Pennsylvania.

Earlier this month, the firm announced plans to buy Atria Wealth Solutions, an independent broker-dealer network with over $100 billion in assets.
