Gridiron Capital Promotes Lauren Amos to VP of Investor Relations

Gridiron Capital has promoted Lauren Amos to VP of investor relations, in large part to her “critical” work on the firm’s record $2.1 billion fund, the firm said.

The New Canaan, CT-based firm, which focuses on partnering with founders, entrepreneurs and management teams, closed Fund V, its biggest vehicle to date, in October 2023 after eclipsing its $1.8 billion target.

Managing partner Kevin Jackson said Amos played a critical role in closing Fund V, which makes target control, equity investments in North America focused on branded consumer, B2B and B2C services, and niche industrial businesses with total enterprise values between $150 million and $600+ million.

Amos will focus on fostering new relationships, fundraising and advancing the firm’s strategic marketing incentives, the firm said.

Prior to joining Gridiron in 2023, Amos worked in IR and fundraising at real estate development firm The Dinerstein Companies. She began her career as an analyst at Stifel in the healthcare investment banking group.

“Lauren has consistently demonstrated outstanding performance, strong leadership, and a deep commitment to our core values. Her promotion reflects her significant contributions to the firm and highlights our dedication to recognizing and fostering talent within our organization,” said Tom Burger, managing partner.
