Snapper Creek Energy Unveils LPG Brokerage Desk

Snapper Creek Energy, a data-driven commodity brokerage specializing in traditional, renewable, and transitional energy markets co-founded by industry veteran Sid Perkins and his brother Ike Perkins, announced the launch of its Physical Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) brokerage desk.

Along with the launch, Deacon Shorr, former president of Libra Fearnley Energy, will join the firm as president of the LPG desk alongside Jake Shorr, VP LPG, Scott Gray, LPG broker, and Nick Teasdale, LPG broker.

“Deacon and the rest of the LPG desk are well positioned for long-term success, and we look forward to leveraging their expertise across the energy markets to continue to create value for our current and future clients,” said Sid Perkins, co-founder, CEO.

The firm’s clients include banks, macro hedge funds, specialized oil and gas investment funds, trading firms, market makers and oil companies.

Based in Miami, Snapper Creek operates brokerage desks focused on natural gas, carbon, natural gas liquids (NGLs), and LPG.
