Coller Capital Launches Secondaries Product for HNWIs

Coller Capital, a secondaries market-focused private equity specialist, is set to launch the Coller Secondaries Private Equity Opportunities Fund (C-SPEF), a tender offer fund for high-net-worth investors.

The fund offers monthly subscriptions and quarterly redemptions, a lower minimum than traditional private market investments, and 1099 tax reporting. C-SPEF does not charge a performance fee, and as a benefit to early investors it has waived its management fee for the first year.

The fund will acquire investor holdings in existing funds and will begin with more than $300 million in seed capital.

“We are excited to bring the benefit of over 30 years of experience investing solely in private equity secondaries to a product developed specifically for the high-net-worth market,” said Jeremy Coller, CIO and managing partner at Coller Capital.

In March 2023, Coller Capital announced the creation of its global Private Wealth Secondaries Solutions business to provide further access to private capital markets for high-net-worth individuals.

C-SPEF will be open for investment beginning in April 2024.
