CORE Industrial Partners Closes on $887M for Two Funds
CORE Industrial Partners closed with $685 million for its flagship Core Industrial Partners Fund III LP and $202 million for its new product, Core Industrial Services Fund I LP, both exceeding their respective targets.
CORE has raised more than $1.58 billion of total limited partner commitments over the past five years.
Fund III will continue CORE’s existing strategy of acquiring manufacturing and industrial technology businesses. The firm’s newest fund strategy focuses more on the industrial services sector that it believes is experiencing strong growth due to reshoring and proliferation of advanced technologies.
“The unwavering support for both fund strategies highlights our dedication to an industrial sector we believe is experiencing significant long-term tailwinds. We remain committed to taking advantage of these opportunities and working hard for our limited partners,” said John May, managing partner of CORE.
With offices in Chicago, Austin, and Cleveland, CORE is a private equity firm that invests in North American lower middle-market manufacturing, industrial technology, and industrial services businesses.
