PPM America Hires Former PGIM Exec to Bolster U.S. Institutional Relations
PPM America, Inc., an asset manager with over $68 billion in assets, hired Jamison Gagnier, a former PGIM principal, as a senior managing director for its global distribution team.
Gagnier will focus on establishing relationships with U.S. institutional plan sponsors outside of insurance and assisting them in identifying investment solutions such as private equity and investment grade private credit.
“Bringing on Jamison is the culmination of months of hard work putting together a thoughtful, well-structured global distribution team to connect meaningfully with the institutional, plan sponsor and consultant markets,” said Jeff Seaver, head of global distribution at PPM America.
Gagnier has over 25 years of industry experience, most recently serving on the institutional client advisor team at Prudential Financial’s asset management arm, PGIM. He was in charge of developing and maintaining institutional partnerships with corporations, endowments, and foundations throughout the western U.S. and Canada.
Prior to joining PGIM, Gagnier worked in institutional sales at Janus Henderson Investors, AXA Investment Managers, Hermes Fund Managers, and Loomis, Sayles & Company.
Gagnier joins recent hires Laura Beckner, head of consultant relations, Greg Balewicz, senior managing director, and Bob Meikleham, managing director, insurance.
