Atlas Holdings Forms Industrial Real Estate Platform

Atlas Holdings LLC has formed Atlas Properties, a real estate investment vehicle focused on the industrial sector.

Concurrent with its formation on December 21, 2023, Atlas Properties purchased a portfolio of 23 “mission-critical” industrial properties across the U.S. for $300 million.

Atlas Properties said investors have committed more than $500 million of additional equity capital, which in combination with market debt financing will support over $1 billion of future growth opportunities. Atlas Properties will invest in industrial real estate in Atlas’ core sectors.

“Historically, Atlas portfolio companies monetized real estate assets in the sale-leaseback market via one-off transactions. Through the creation of Atlas Properties, we will leverage our knowledge of industrial credits, property types and underlying mission criticality of real estate owned by companies in key Atlas industry sectors,” said Greg Blake, Atlas Principal.

Greenwich, CT-based Atlas currently manages a portfolio of 27 industrial, manufacturing and distribution businesses. In aggregate, its companies generate about $16 billion in annual revenue.
