
Mercer Advisors Kicks Off 2024 with Purchase of $465M Denver Wealth Manager
Mercer Advisors Inc., a registered investment advisor backed by private equity firms Oak Hill Capital, Genstar Capital and Atlas Partners, has acquired Transitions Wealth Management (TWM) LLC, a Denver, CO-based firm with about $465 million in assets.
TWM was founded in 1999 by Bruce Bendell and Gary Saltzman, who were later joined by Michelle Sandt-Wade and Michael Simmons. The firm caters to over 400 clients.
“We believe in providing holistic and comprehensive financial planning for our clients by addressing their financial needs. Our commitment to that high level service has fueled our rapid growth in Colorado and beyond,” said Bendell, TWM managing partner.
The acquisition follows a busy buying spree in the second half of 2023, including $495 million Florida-based RIA Paragon Wealth Strategies in December, $630 million North Carolina family office Kingfisher Capital in October, and $680 million Dallas,TX-based RIA Steward Wealth Management.
Mercer Advisors, which is also headquartered in Denver, manages over $50 billion in client assets.
