
Baird Capital Closes 6th VC Fund at $218M
Baird Capital, the Chicago, IL-based direct private investment arm of Robert W. Baird & Co., closed its sixth venture capital fund at $218 million, its largest yet, focused on mid-stage B2B technology & services companies.
Led by Joanna Arras, Mark Donnelly, Jim Pavlik and Benedict Rocchio, the platform commits $10 million to $20 million in equity over the life of an investment in companies that have between $2 million and $15 million in revenue.
The firm has already invested $34.5 million from the new fund in three startups, including a $31.5 million Series C round in SaaS management firm Zylo, a $25 million Series B in data privacy management software firm Osano, and a $12 million Series B round in predictive forecasting and capacity planning software startup Parallax.
The firm’s fifth venture fund closed at $215 million, while the fourth fund cllosed at $185 million.
