LPL Lures $130M PA Advisor Duo from Ameriprise

LPL Financial LLC has added two former Ameriprise Financial advisors, Matthew Best and Michael Moore of Shippenville, PA-based Best Wealth Management, to its broker-dealer, RIA and custodial platforms with approximately $130 million in advisory, brokerage and retirement plan assets.

The duo is joined by office assistant Drew Wrhen.

“We appreciate that LPL does not offer any proprietary investment products and gives us the flexibility to run our practice how we see fit,” adding that LPL also provides “a much wider range of products, tools and resources” to help the team differentiate itself.

Best has been in the industry since 1998, according to his BrokerCheck record, when he registered with The Investment Center. He has also been registered with Blue Vase Securities, Financial Network Investment Corp., Investment Professionals, and Ameriprise.

Moore first registered with Edward Jones in 2014, and has also been registered with Ameriprise, according to his BrokerCheck report.
