LaSalle St. Lures $550M Chicago Firm from Atria Wealth

LaSalle St., a family of wealth management firms encompassing an independent broker-dealer and two registered investment adviser (RIA) platforms, announced that Deerfield, IL-based Horwitz & Associates, an RIA with $550 million in assets, has joined its network.

Horwitz & Associates was previously operating as an office of supervisory jurisdiction (OSJ) under Western International, a subsidiary of independent broker-dealer Atria Wealth Solutions.

Gerald Horwitz established the firm in 1970 to provide asset and wealth management, as well as financial and retirement planning to business owners, retirees and pre-retirees. Its 13-person team also includes offices in Ohio, Louisiana, Arizona and Florida.

“Our firm has evolved significantly over the years, and we are thrilled to start this next chapter of our growth with LaSalle St. We needed a partner who understood and respected our culture, approach and dedication to our history, that simultaneously positioned us for the future,” said Horwitz.

LaSalle, founded in 1974 and headquartered in Chicago, manages roughly $12 billion in client assets and supports over 300 financial advisors.
