- Matt Warta has been hired by alternative asset manager Bow River Capital as a managing director on the software growth equity team. Warta will oversee the sourcing and due diligence of majority-control transactions and lead the board of directors across SaaS platform companies.
- Jeff Hypes has been named managing director for William Blair’s private capital advisory team in Chicago, while Nick Ohler and Andrew Viehe were appointed directors in New York. Hypes and Viehe were previously director and project manager, respectively, with the Credit Suisse private fund group. Ohler served as SVP of the Houlihan Lokey private fund group.
- Peter Fish and Mark Stierman have been named managing directors by investment bank E Piper Sandler Co. to its real estate investment banking team within the financial services group. Previously, Fish was a managing director at Raymond James in the investment banking group. Stierman worked at Robert A. Stanger & Co. most recently as an executive managing director.
- Andrew Cialino has been tapped as principal, head of business development by LongRange Capital, a middle market private equity firm, overseeing deal origination and sourcing activities. Cialino is joining from SFW Capital Partners, where he was principal and head of business development.
- Jennifer Fuller has been hired as a managing director in the firm’s financial services group by global investment bank Houlihan Lokey Inc. Most recently, Fuller was a managing director at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, a Stifel company.
- Scott Adams has been hired as SVP – investor relations for real estate firm Harbor Group International. Adams is expected to focus on capital raising efforts in the US Mid-Atlantic region of the US. Based in the firm’s Norfolk, Va office, Adams will report to HGI Vice Chairman Saul Lubetski.
- Strivacity, an eCommerce startup, has secured a $20 million Series A2 led by SignalFire with backing from Ten Eleven Ventures. Other investors include Kevin Mandia, CEO of Mandiant and Jack Huffard, co-founder of Tenable, who will join the firm as Executive Chairman. The new investment brings Strivacity’s total funding to $28 million.
- InfoDesk, backed by enterprise software investment firm Cuadrilla Capital, has acquired Wide Narrow to bring together two SaaS platforms focused on business enterprise insights. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
- Mojo Vision, a micro-LED display developer, has raised a $22.4 million Series A led by NEA and Khosla Ventures. The startup also announced that Dr. Nikhil Balram has been appointed chief executive officer.
- Audax Private Equity has acquired Krayden from Quad-C Management. Terms of the deal are not disclosed. Krayden distributes specialty materials to original equipment manufacturers that serve aerospace, defense, industrial and electronics companies.
