  • Beth Mikes was appointed head of debt capital markets by Key Banc Capital Markets Inc., the corporate and investment banking arm of KeyCorp. Mikes  will report to Randy Paine, president of Key Institutional Bank. Previously, Mikes was a managing director and head of KBCM syndicated and leveraged finance group. 
  • William J. Shida was promoted to CFO by Incentive Solutions, a provider of channel marketing and sales services backed by private equity firm Capstreet. Shida started at Incentive Solutions in 2015 as a staff accountant, before becoming VP and corporate controller. In his most recent role, he had global responsibilities for building the accounting team. 
  • Kevin Waddell was hired as an operating partner by Transom Capital Group, an operations-focused middle market private equity firm. Most recently, Waddell was CEO of SemiTorr Group, a former portfolio company of Transom. He was also an integrated circuit and computer designer at Hewlett-Packard before joining the Boston Consulting Group. 
  • Andy Kirkpatrick was hired as a senior operating partner by Vance Street Capital, an LA-based private equity firm. The company also promoted Nick Lindholm to VP. Kirkpatrick was most recently COO of Sonendo, a dental tech company, and COO of Accuray, a radiation therapy device company. Lindholm joined the firm in 2021 from Barclays. 
  • Rob Radics was appointed CEO of Grant Avenue Capital LLC-backed Fortis Home Health & Hospice, a home-based care company. Radics most recently served as president, Home Health & Hospice of Aveanna Healthcare.  
  • Google, NVIDIA and Salesforce Ventures participated in a $141M Series C funding round for Runway, an AI research company that can create short videos from a few words of text. The startup is led by CEO Cristóbal Valenzuela
  • Ten Eleven Ventures led a $30M Series A funding round for Cyware, a provider of AI-powered cybersecurity solutions for enterprises and MSSPs. Advent International, Zscaler, Emerald Development Managers, Prelude (the venture practice at Mercato Partners) and Great Road Holdings participated in the round. The firm is led by CEO Anuj Goel. 
  • Ingrasys, a subsidiary of Foxconn Technology Group, and the Strategic Development Fund (SDF), an Abu Dhabi-based investment firm, led a $26M investment in Ramon.Space, a computing infrastructure firm for space use. Existing investors Grove Ventures, Deep Insight and UMC Capital participated in the round.  
  • Lone Star Funds, a private equity firm, has acquired Titan Acquisition Holdings, a ship repair services and marine and fabrication company, from Carlyle and Stellex Capital Management. Titan is comprised of Vigor Industrial LLC., MHI Holdings LLC. and Continental Maritime of San Diego. Titan customers include the US Navy, US Coast Guard, Military Sealift Command, US Army, and Boeing. 
  • Pittco Direct Investments II, LP, the investing arm of Pittco Management and family office for AutoZone founder Joseph Hyde III, has invested in ShowOps, which provides services for the live events industry.

He holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
